Available to both patients of Schofield Chiropractic Group, and the general public, The AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill uses a pressurized air chamber to uniformly reduce gravitational load and body weight, enabling you to move unrestricted and pain free.

How Does It Work?

NASA-based technology applies positive air pressure to gently unweight users in 1% increments to as low as 20% of their body weight – quickly, effortlessly, and precisely. Fully customizable to the user, you can calibrate their your effective body weight based on comfort level to achieve pain-free movement or to allow for partial weight bearing exercise as tolerated. The positive air pressure chamber and fall-safe environment enable the controlled progression of weight-bearing activity and training volume, without impact on joints or risk of injury. Real-time gait analytics and live video feedback allow users to understand their movement patterns and make corrections on the fly for faster, better outcomes. And, unlike harness systems and hydrotherapy, AlterG’s technology can be effective for a broad spectrum of diagnoses and therapeutic stages.

You do not need to be a patient to use the AlterG Treadmill! Just contact our office to schedule a 30 or 60-minute session today. You can pay for individual sessions or purchase a 10-use punch card to receive a discount.

You will be required to wear a special pair of shorts while using The AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill®. We provide multiple sizes of shorts from for you to try on a trial basis. If you plan to use the AlterG Treadmill often we require that you purchase your own shorts. The shorts are $75 per pair and we can help  make recommendations on fit.
